In March 2012, this was our first blog about our adventures with our two grandchildren.  We are two of the luckiest grandparents around because we get to see our grandchildren often.  Sometimes, it is just for a quick lunch and a game of some type, and other times we may be weeding the garden together.  The activity itself doesn’t matter so much – it is the time spent together that counts because the world through the eye of a child is a wonderful thing to experience.  We enjoyed the wonder of the world as children ourselves, we had great times with our daughter when she was growing up, and now we get to do it all over again with our two terrific grandchildren.  It just doesn’t get much better than that!

As time went by, the grandchildren grew up, but the gardening, quilting, New England day trips, and amateur photography interests continued.  🙂

I never read this first post before — a nice reflection. Those 2 years have gone fast!

  2. Congrats on two years blogging. It has been fun getting to know you thru your posts and emails. Treasure those moments with the grandkids.
