The calendar says there are sixty more days until the first day of spring. I think it may be a little longer for us New Englanders. It’s been snowing since mid morning. We have about 4″ right now, and it’s still coming down hard.
Raspberries, high bush blueberry bushes, astilbe, tire swing, raised beds and goat fence.
Maintaining a sense of humor about the weather is a necessity for anyone who lives in New England, so we’ll keep the pellet stove roaring and focus on our Patriots hopefully playing a good game tomorrow. 🙂

Omygosh…I don’t miss that part of home! It’s chilly here today, but at least I know the warm temps are coming much sooner. Stay warm! 🙂

My sisters and I would build little mountains of snow a few feet in front of our backyard swings. Then we would swing and try to kick them down. If I was in your backyard now I would so get on that tire and try that again!

We got right around 8″ and supposedly we’re getting a little more midmorning. It is one of those postcard type that is beautiful to look at but heavy to move. Wish we could have split with you. 🙂
