You do everything to perfection. Your veggies and flowers are thriving in a weedless, sun filled bed of gardening skill! How nice to eat things without taking a chance you’re ingesting some noxious chemical!

I sure would love to pick/eat berries with you! Everything does looks so pretty and your hydrangea is so different from mine. You are sure going to have some good eats!

Wouldn’t that be fun – pick a bowl, sit in a comfy chair and eat away. 🙂 That is a mop head hydrangea, and I have several new plants that I wish I could share with you.

I have always wanted to ask you…do you use these herbs every time you cook? If so, just heavenly.

We use everything we grow and appreciate every morsel that makes it to the summer dinner table. 🙂 And I never harvest something without marveling at how my grandparents were able to grow enough food to last the entire year.

I think my favorite ( though all lovely ) would be the hydrangea since mine does not bloom till later in the season 🙂

I can hardly believe that white bleeding heart is still there. All the pink ones have been finished blooming for a long time. 🙂

You are such an inspiration! Love, love, love your photos and the fabulous food you’re growing. I used to pick wild blueberries and raspberries as a child. I’d give anything to be able to grow them. (Actually, to have them grow WILD in my yard would be better since I’m a rather lazy gardener). 😀

I’d gladly share. 🙂 If you don’t have raspberry and high bush blueberry bushes, I’d highly recommend them. They are really hardly in our cold climate, and the grandkids love just picking them right off the bushes. 🙂

I have dreams of a little future berry orchard. I could put them anywhere if they didn’t need to be watered. Right? We just started picking Blackcaps (blackberries)

We have high bush blueberries and once they are established are about like perennials – they are tough. You’d probably need plenty of water the first and second years but they should survive on their own after that. Concord grapes are also pretty self sufficient. The birds get our cherries and the chipmunks and squirrels eat the strawberries. 😦

Looks great. We have green tomatoes also. Our raspberry canes were all killed to the ground over winter, so very few berries.
