Summer in New England is simple. We spend as much time at the beach and lakes as possible and enjoy our home grown fruits, vegetables and flowers.
We’re having a great summer, and here’s hoping you are too. 🙂

Those berries look gloriously tasty! My best memories of a New England summer besides the seaside are fried clams and freshly made donuts…

I am so far behind on my reading this week. Those pictures are so peaceful looking and so different from the seaside here. Love the grands walking on the beach. Happy Summer Judy!

My most vivid memory of living in Maine was planning my birthday swim party in early June (as always – we were Alabama transplants) and being told it was way too early to swim. Sure enough – it was cold and raining that day. We used to love Camden and Bar Harbor – once it got warm enough for us 🙂

Camden and Bar Harbor – two of the most beautiful spots Maine has to offer. We drove up to Boothbay Harbor yesterday. Gorgeous.
