In my area, anything built in the 1800s is “waaaay old!” Your 1600s settlers were certainly industrious! I’m glad so much is still standing so it can be admired and appreciated.

  2. New England Mill Towns…nothing quite like them, is there? I always enjoy seeing those old buildings renovated back to life!

  3. Looks like an old textile mill on the lower left. Is it standing empty or has it been put to some new use?

The weather looks deceivingly comfortable in all the photos but the last. Winter’s icy grip is certainly evident along the edge of the waterfall and boulders. Brrrrr!

I agree with what Joyce said and even more so! Southern California certainly doesn’t have the history that you have and I love all of your pictures of it!
