Weekly Photo Challenge: Optimistic

Optimistic describes how I feel about our new seasonal campsite at Baxter Lake that we will be able to occupy on May 15th – a mere 16 weeks from now. At that time, I will stretch out, bake my bones, and forget all about this cold, snowy winter. 🙂

But, as long as we are going to be optimistic on this particular Friday, let’s hope the weather forecasters are a little high on their snow forecast for the East Coast. It is supposed to go south of us, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for those in the direct path.

Be safe. 🙂

That looks like your own little paradise island! You are going to have a terrific week. No wonder that spot is so coveted and so hard to reserve!
We’re not in the path of anything bad weather-wise this weekend, but my heart goes out to those who are. I just saw the news and the problems in Virginia. Everyone just needs to stay inside!

Optimism is thinking about baking in the sun when snow and ice are in the forecast. Take care this weekend Judy.

  9. I like your optimism regarding the snow. She are in the red zone- so to speak-and looking at 30 inches. The best part is that I am not at all optimistic that we can handle it!!

    • I was telling my husband yesterday that maybe NH, VT, and ME should send some plows and drivers south to help everyone out. When we get those big storms, we have the equipment, and it is a sight to see four gigantic plows marching down the interstate taking it right back down to the asphalt. We never stay down for very long, just a number of hours, but we have huge plows that can plow straight ahead and to the side at the same time. Stay safe and I hope you have the number of a good plow guy. 🙂

Hope the storm isn’t hitting you too badly Judy – just think about those little plants below the ground being warmed by their white blankets!

    • Right now it is 18F, gray, gloomy, and we’re waiting to see if we get any snow from the big storm marching up the East Coast. This morning I’m headed off to buy some fabric for a couple of new projects to keep me from getting bored. Happy Saturday, Nadezda. 🙂
