The ocean rolls, pulls, pushes, and crashes. Life does that sometimes. Today is one of those days. 🙂
But, I’m off to walk a couple of miles, listen to my tunes, sew a few seams, and reclaim my mojo.
Then I’ll ride those waves right into tomorrow, because I’m going to a garden show with a friend and look forward to sharing the details with you on Monday.
Here’s hoping you have a fabulous weekend. 🙂

Some good music and a few miles on the treadmill, and I’m raring to go again. 🙂

Beautiful photo! I understand what you mean about needing to “refuel” once in awhile. Endless days without sun do that to me. I’m glad you have your flower show to pep you up! Sometimes I just need a mindless wandering through the mall to recharge me!

One thing about being at a ‘mature’ age, we all know what the secret is to popping right back up. Whether it is a flower show, a walk through the mall, a movie, tunes, 10,000 steps, as long as we know how to get back up, that’s what is important. Take care, friend, and let me know what the latest fashions are as you take your walk. 🙂

In the early fall we went through a crazy six weeks when our four year old cat died unexpectedly of cancer, 5 days later one of our sons told us he had a detached retina and was having surgery exactly a week after we lost her, and then a few weeks later our other son experienced a collapsed lung and required surgery. I held up through the first two but the kind of lost it with the third. Two days after the last news I told my husband I wanted to go to Nauset Beach on Cape Cod to walk and look at the waves. It is one of my favorite places on earth. So we did, then had a lobster roll and I was back on track. There is nothing like looking at the water you captured in this beautiful picture. On a good note, all were home and healthy for Christmas and no cats died. 🙂

I’m always a sucker for a story with a happy ending. 🙂 A walk on the beach and a lobster roll is definitely good medicine for what ails you.

We all seem to be on a similar page. Must be the impending change of season. We can feel it thrumming in the earth. No stopping it now! Spring WILL come.

We’re all getting antsy waiting for spring and the promise of warm weather and everything beginning to bloom. You can’t be gloomy surrounded by flowers!
Beautiful photo. I find staring at water….calm water, crashing waves, waterfalls….is so relaxing. Maybe hypnotic is a better word.
I know you’re gonna love the flower show!! That’s a no-brainer. Take lotsa photos to share with us please! 😝
Gotta get on my treadmill and give the arthritis a run for it’s money! Have a great weekend.

That’s right. You’ve got to show that arthritis you are in charge right before it ‘points’ out who really is in charge. 🙂 I walk around four miles every day, but some evenings require a heating pad. The next day finds me right back at it though. Walking is goood physically and mentally. You have a good weekend. 🙂

“walk a couple of miles, listen to my tunes, sew a few seams”–that sounds like a good prescription for whatever ails a person! I know this combo always seem to work for me!

While growing up along Lake Erie, I felt the “pull” of the water. I also when my parents retired and had their back yard, the lake was so relaxed and filled with peace from waves repeatedly helped put me to sleep. This was the Ocean but the effect is similar, Judy. Lovely post and photo.

What a beautiful picture. The surf here is really high this week because of the incoming storm — and the microscopic chance we will get rain. I love the beach and the ocean. One day there can be a vacation!
