When we traveled to Italy, we were lucky enough to visit the Isle of Capri, and if you want to pay homage to Mother Earth, it is easy to do so there because natural beauty surrounds you wherever you look.

Have a great Mother’s Day weekend. If you have a mother, someone who is like a mother, a wife who gave birth to and nurtured your children, or a daughter or daughter-in-law who gifted you with grandchildren, be sure to take a moment to extend greetings this weekend. Life is short, and the gift of time is the most treasured gift of all. 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day, Judy!

Yes! Mother Earth is a beauty! And so is your suggestion to extend greetings to those who serve in that capacity to us. My best comfort, now that my own mother has been gone for 8 years, are memories of the times I expressed gratitude or went out of my way to do something special for her. Those who still have a chance to build up this reservoir are privileged indeed!

Amen. There are a lot of things I’d say now, but there are no second chances once someone is gone. So, let me say to you, friend, Happy Mother’s Day and may you get to spend it with some of your beautiful family. 🙂

The gift of time is truly a wonderful gift, Judy! I enjoyed a Saturday with my oldest daughter and her two boys. We visited a president’s memorial, went to see the Captain America movie and Red Lobster. Not as good as New England would serve up but delicious anyway! Today, my youngest gave me a huge box of homemade chocolates made in a shop in German Village. My DIL too my grandies precious fingerprints dipped in paint to make four flowers and then baby Hendrix put his handprint on the pot of flowers given to me. So thoughtful and special, handmade gifts are the best!
I was hoping you would show a foreign land and this Isle of Capri was fantastic example of seeing nature and Earth. Thanks for the extra blue water and craggy rock cliffs shown!
Hope you are having a wonderful Mother’s Day, Judy!

It sounds like your family knew exactly what to give you this weekend – themselves. There isn’t a gift of any kind that competes with that. I love the handprint on the pot of flowers – sweet. 🙂

Happy Mothers’ Day Judy! We have the same occasion in the UK three weeks before Easter. I dream of going to Capri. I fear if I went I’d never want to leave!

I think you would love it, but I sure don’t remember any gardens that could compete with yours. 🙂
