Choosing to focus indoors because we have 6″ of snow forecasted for this weekend.
April Fool’s joke? I wish.

But OH NO on your forecast! Sorry! Keep gazing at that lovely flower 😉

What a beauty, Judy.

Hopefully the forecasters are wrong!

Me too. We have a plant potting party scheduled in three weeks. The beds are still under snow now so they definitely don’t need more. In case Mother Nature is wondering – I cry uncle, she is in charge. No question here. 🙂

It just never ends I guess!

Thanks for the burst of beauty. We really need it in northern New England.

No More Snow!!! Wish I could make it so for you. The flower is beautiful.

What a gorgeous sight that flower is! Looks like a little birds nest in the center.
Sorry about weather forecast. Mother Nature seems to have an unusually severe case of PMS!!

She sure has something going on, but I wish she’d get over it. 🙂

Sorry to hear you’re expecting more snow. March definitely going out with the roar of a lion for you all! Hope you have cozy, warm week-end indoors. “)

Very lovely flower! I’ve never seen that type before. Is it an iris?

I’ve been told it is a Walking Iris. Its bloom lasts one day, and I usually get six to ten per year. A friend gave it to me as a houseplant. He has since passed, and when it blooms it is a lovely reminder of his friendship.

What a beautiful flower, Judy. Great photo and I can understand your wanting to focus/stay inside. Our forecast has switched from snow to snow/rain. I hope it keeps moving in that direction.

Let’s hope it swings to the north – they’re saying 1-2″ of mix here, but with temps in the 40s. I can deal with that!
Love the iris – I have one of those, too. Sweetly scented, but too short-lived!

Oh dear. Love the plant though!

That is a houseplant? It is gorgeous! And the best possible memorial. Though it’s a help to have such a beauty indoors with you, I know you are itching to get out there and dig around. NOT through six inches of snow! May this be the last of it!

We were in a severe drought last year. I keep telling myself all this moisture is good for the earth. 🙂 Have to find something positive about a snowstorm this late. 🙂
