Ooooh, brrrrrr. We were at a balmy 6°f (-14°c) when I left for work. After looking at your mao, I’ll stop calling that cold.

I did see that so I’ll be thinking about food possibilities. Turn up the heat! 🙂

There should be a law against temperatures like that!
Have a well-deserved and safe trip to SC.

I woke up to -11F this morning and a cold apartment. I’m so grateful for heat. Stay warm today, Judy!

Over here it is just grey, grey and grey. 5 hours of sunshine so far in December. The Belgian record low is 10 hours (1934). Looks like we are going to smash that.

Wow – that is a lot of gray. There are folks over here who medicate because of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) because of lack of sunshine. They really wouldn’t be able to cope with just five hours.

Yes, I can certainly see why you are heading south. Safe travels and enjoy the warmth when you get there.

Not in the slightest. 😀 Having lived it, I do know how much you will enjoy some warm weather.

Brrrrr I wish I could send you some of our 30C+ temps and sun. Hope the weather is warmer where you are going. How does your garden cope with those extreme temps?

Good question. The only thing that survives our cold winters are really tough perennials because they are buried under feet of snow for months at a time. 🙂

Ok I thought that I was cold before seeing this !!

Just looking at that picture gives me chills. Glad to hear you are heading for warmer weather. My daughter who is living in Toronto has gone to Iceland for a week’s holiday. She thinks it will be positively tropical there, where the temperature is only -1C compared to Toronto where it’s been -27C. I just can’t imagine those temperatures.

I hope she has a wonderful trip, but I did laugh out loud thinking that a trip to Iceland would be tropical. But, based upon Canada’s temps and ours, I can see how she might think that. 🙂

She is so excited to be visiting there. She said her hair froze while she was at the Blue Lagoon, so it’s not that warm. 🙂

Oh, gosh, I don’t think I’m going for a walk tomorrow! Maybe I’ll look at Caribbean travel brochures instead. 😉

Now, that sounds like a plan to me. 🙂 I was just looking at the wether for 8 a.m., and it says a wind chill index of -22.

Good plan!!! Maybe I’ll come with you. So cold here!! We have a wind chill of -27 here tonight – which is extreme. And many people (not us, fortunately) have been without power since Christmas Day when a wind storm knocked it out. I can’t even imagine it.
Safe and happy travels!!!

The only thing that makes bitterly cold weather worse is loss of power. I hope their service is back on.

We are just converting your temperatures to Celsius… Your Wind chill factors are incredible .. You are hardy folk, that is for sure! Enjoy your trip to SC ..& enjoy the warm weather. 😀👌

Windchill here is -12. Balmy by New England standards. Get those reindeer hitched up and head out! And have a safe trip!

Isn’t this cold wicked?! You’re clever to be leaving it behind . . .

It’s even colder where you are than here. We are a relatively balmy 7 below. Your first walk on the beach in SC is going to feel mighty sweet!

It’s been that cold here and getting colder. Whenever I let Scooter out of his pen to romp in the snow, he makes a bee-line for the house. So I let him in. A minute later he wants to go out.

We have been cold the past few days, but NOT that cold. I should be thankful, and I am. But I still will grumble.

We can always grumble – it’s part of the constitution isn’t it? 🙂

HOT today. I thought I would virtual cool down and pretend it is January. LOL… Thanks.

If we could get an ‘average’ temperature, that would be good. 🙂
