Someone is doing something about this winter weather in April.
When I saw this on the news, I had a good laugh and thought I would share with you, my blogging friends, because I know many of you in the northern states are feeling the same way.
Maybe it’s my warped sense of humor, but I love this. I’m thinking about buying a frame for it.
Have a great Monday, and I wish you blue skies, sunshine, warm temperatures, and a slight breeze. Yeah, in my dreams. π
Why not have a sense of humor around all this bluster, snow, and chilly temps! I think every town in the northeast has a warrant out for that arrest! Let’s hope spring stops running turns herself in!

I’ll second that motion. Doing ‘spring’ chores in a winter coat, hat, and two pairs of gloves is somewhat restricting, but it can be done as we both know. π

and turns herself in, that is!

I’m sorry Judy, but the defendant has been detained in Belgium where she has released Spring, much to the pleasure of all Belgians. Unfortunately, as Spring has now been added to President Trump’s increased tariffs, it is no longer possible for us to export it to the USA.

Oh my goodness, Denzil, thank you for starting my Monday with a wonderful laugh. At least now, the mystery has been solved. π I guess we’re going to have to learn to live without Spring because right now I don’t think there is anything we can do about the two ‘T’s’ except plan a return trip to Belgium which sure sounds like a plan to me. π

Your entry visa will be progressed with top priority Judy!

No problem. I will be coming to you from the US where tariffs are a lot more accommodating. Be there in about 3 weeks.

Funny. Could you please make this really happen? Snow here this morning and I’m about ready to go live in a closet– no windows, no chance of seeing this stuff, no need to get dressed to go outside… Just be a closet hermit. Hiding from it all.

I’m with you. It’s 27 degree F right now, and when those snow flurries start flying, I definitely want to close the curtains so I can’t see it. Enough is enough, we all need a break from winter. π

Very funny….. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

That’s right! 20 degree temps and snow flurries in April are certainly desperate times. π

Somebody had a lot of fun with this–but Mother Nature won’t give in without a fight! I put all my wool clothes and coats away about 10 days ago and have been regretting it ever since!

My furnace is running as we speak, and I haven’t put any winter clothes away yet. The sun is shining this morning but we’ll be lucky to break 40 mid day. π

Same here. We did the clothing swap out early because of Don’s surgery so my closet is full of skorts and t-shirts–totally useless.

Totally love this! With below freezing temps and snow in the forecast YES, make an arrest. π

I hope the Dover police horses are in on the arrest! Let ’em know you mean business!
Same thing here – Easter egg hunt in mittens and winter jackets – pictures from past years at earlier dates contrast with sun and sweaters…..cold today again with rain and snow mixed in the forecast. We need to borrow that warrant!

This is just plain crazy cold weather. We’re trying to thaw plants out for the plant sale next month. Right now it is a loosing battle. Stay warm. Tell those beautiful grandkids you need an extra long hug. π

This is hysterical. ππ Nice to get a laugh at Mother Nature’s expense. But she’s proved to be a slippery devil, so let’s hope she doesn’t get the last laugh. I’m still laughing at Denzil’s comment. π
Temperature here is 20 degrees. π‘ Everything remains frozen. You think you can at least get some leaves raked up only to find that, except for a few, they’re frozen to the ground! WTH?!
Are we just gonna go from winter directly into hot, humid, buggy summer? I used to laugh and say that the snow wouldn’t melt until July. Well, I ain’t laughing now!

I just came back from some errands – winter coat and gloves. It is almost noon and barely 30 degrees here. Yes, I had myself a really good laugh at Denzil’s comment too. Loved it. π

Right up my alley, Judy. Love it and it’s something I would love to have put out myself. We have several inches of the white stuff this morning, even though as the week goes on, temperatures are supposed to be going up quite drastically. Spring is always a surprise in one way or another. Thanks for the laugh.

That is clever, and I think justified. I hope they catch her and reform her attitude.

Too funny! This morning in central Maine, it is pretty darned brisk. Under 30 degrees with a stiff wind. In taking pictures for this morning’s weather report, I was pretty chilly and so was snow-gauge Clif π

I had to go to Home Depot and thought I’d park by the garden center and go in that way. I thought I was going to freeze solid before I got into the store and some heat. The sun is shining, and I’m grateful for that, but we are barely at 30 degrees with a brisk wind. π

Still cold and on-off snow down here on βmildβ Long Island. Keep thinking I should get my down jacket out again…! If weβre lucky weβll make 40deg again today.

Our ten-day forecast says we ‘may’ hit 50 next week. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for both of us. π

Now you’ve gone and done it. Around here, we don’t dare annoy Mother Nature. She’s too heavily armed.

Cute. I have seen heavy snow in April before, but not this many days of snow/cold without end here on the north coast of the midwest.

We are breaking heat records today — 90 degrees is warm for April! Should be cooler tomorrow!

Maybe we could average it out – my 30 and your 90, and we’d both be comfy. π

I wish we could do that! It’s going to be a long, hot, dry Southern California summer!

I can only imagine how tired you are of winter. Strangely enough, it’s made a surprise reappearance in Houston and I thought we were done.

Judy, you left your sunny sea side much too soon. Next year come a little further South, where the rates don’t change until May.

It’s 23 degrees here this morning. I’m hoping this is Mother Nature’s plan to cut back on our tick population. She lured them out with two warm(ish) days at the beginning of the month and then froze them in place. Wishful thinking, I know!

It may be wishful thinking, but I like it because it gets rid of one of our most dreaded pests and it makes surviving this cold April worth it. π

I feel for all you Northerners as you freeze and can’t get into your garden. Hope spring does arrive, maybe you will go straight into summer…

Ha! I noticed Denzil has been hosting Mother Nature in Belgium. She must have left instructions for her underlings in Australia because our autumn weather is delightful and still much like summer. We are having beautiful days and cool nights – perfect. If I could bottle sunshine, I’d send some over for you.

I am thrilled for you and would take that bottle of sunshine because we are expecting snow or freezing rain tomorrow. π¦
