Those early frost always produce such pretty results. Nature’s artwork is still the best π

First frosts are like the first snow, we notice the beauty and don’t pay too much attention to the underlying meaning.

Beautiful photos. The frost brings out the shape and colors nicely.

The frost works magic in these photos. Before we know it, we’ll be wishing it was only frost we were looking at! π³

I love frost, but then we are know what comes next, and that requires a shovel. π

I love this kind of photo! The contrasts, the harbinger of what’s to come, the delicacy of the frost! Excellent photos!

You know I like these shots, Judy, as I had similar ones just a few days ago. π Thanks for brightening my morning. It’s getting cold here and my weather app shows a snowflake for some days this week. We’ll see.

It was beautiful today – sun, moderate temps, and they are talking about rain or snow on Friday. The weather is like a roller coaster ride this year. π

You had a frost this year?

We’ve actually had several, the temps are falling, and we’re hearing the ‘snow’ word in the forecast. π

Snow on the horizon for Michigan. To rake or to shovel..that is the dilemma. Lovely pix Judy.

A nice touch of frost there, Judy. I don’t think we’ve had any yet.

Much as I hate to see winterβs approach, your images made me appreciate the beauty of seasonβs changes Judy. Very special

Frost already! Meanwhile, here we have just endured our first heatwave of the season and it’s not even summer yet. We had several days of 35+C days. Thank goodness it’s back to normal now. I love the photo of the red leaf edged with frost. It would make a lovely Christmas card.

What beautiful images! You make a good point that it’s one thing to acknowledge winter’s coming, and another thing entirely to accept it. The first is easy, the second not so much. You’ve demonstrated how to find the beauty in it, though. I do love the sugared look of that rose (yes, I’m always thinking of dessert).
