Those early frost always produce such pretty results. Nature’s artwork is still the best πŸ™‚

First frosts are like the first snow, we notice the beauty and don’t pay too much attention to the underlying meaning.

I love this kind of photo! The contrasts, the harbinger of what’s to come, the delicacy of the frost! Excellent photos!

  6. You know I like these shots, Judy, as I had similar ones just a few days ago. πŸ™‚ Thanks for brightening my morning. It’s getting cold here and my weather app shows a snowflake for some days this week. We’ll see.

  19. Frost already! Meanwhile, here we have just endured our first heatwave of the season and it’s not even summer yet. We had several days of 35+C days. Thank goodness it’s back to normal now. I love the photo of the red leaf edged with frost. It would make a lovely Christmas card.

What beautiful images! You make a good point that it’s one thing to acknowledge winter’s coming, and another thing entirely to accept it. The first is easy, the second not so much. You’ve demonstrated how to find the beauty in it, though. I do love the sugared look of that rose (yes, I’m always thinking of dessert).
