Poinsettias floating in a sea of cranberries at Brookgreen Garden’s ‘Nights of a Thousand Candles.’
That’s amazing. Wouldn’t have thought to use cranberries this way.

‘Amazing’ is a good word for this display. It just took my breath away it was so beautiful.
I love white Poinsettias! They are even more beautiful in the cranberries. Your photos have brightened my day! Thanks!

Happy to help brighten anyone’s day especially you. 🙂
Gorgeous! Your stunning photo is brightening up my day. Rain, rain, and more rain. It is so dark here at 8am the streetlights are still on! Like that statue too!
I’ve never seen cranberries used like that, and it was a beautiful display. Yes, the statues at Brookgreen can hold their own in the beauty department. 🙂 Sunny, warm, but foggy here.
WOW! That’s creative! Glad you’re immersed in white poinsettias instead of white snow!
Yes, white plants beat white snow every time. 🙂
Such a lovely and quite stunning floral display! This really is amazing!
It was really pretty.
All right. This deserves a wowsah.
Cranberry terrazzo — it’s gorgeous! I think I’ve never seen white poinsettias looking so proud!
Someone there has some real creative skills. 🙂
Very cool display. The cranberries offer a lovely contrast to the white poinsettias. I imagine that a shallow bowl filled with berries on a dining table surrounding a plant or arrangement would be also pleasing to the eye.
I think you’re right. The red and the white make a nice contrast.
Gorgeous! The environmentalists in me hopes they were able to repurpose the cranberries afterwards… like maybe compost them or use them as feed.
I know they compost because I’ve seen the large bins. They also have a small zoo area with a lot of birds maybe they use them there.
I’ve seen cranberry bogs in Wisconsin but never with flowers floating in them. 🙂 It’s quite stunning and creative.
I’m thinking next year, I’m going to try it in on a very small scale in a clear glass bowl or vase. It really was stunning.
So pretty. Thanks for sharing some color with us, Judy.
They look great together! I would not have thought to do this combo either…
Wow I just love those white Poinsettias.. we had red ones growing in our garden…how my mother would have loved these! 😀
I’ve never seen a poinsettia actually growing. I’ve only seen them in a pot.
I wonder how they thought of that? So creative and pretty!
Poinsettias floating on a see of cranberries! I like it!
You would have loved it!
