I am tempted to say “Unreal!” However, the glory of it is that it is very real. This part of the world has exactly zero color right now, so this image is all the more wonderful this morning. Thank you!

Your camellia is beautiful! I love the color. I only have one bush and it has small red flowers. It’s different from the traditional camellias. It usually blooms around Christmas time but this year it just started to bloom.

Gorgeous. I used to see camellias when growing up called peppermint camellias. This looks like a highly refined one. Do you know it’s name?

I don’t right now, but when I visit the next time I will try my best to find the tag. I know where it is in the garden, I’m just hoping there will still be a couple blooms.

I went to Brookgreen this afternoon and checked around the bush to see if there was a nameplate, but there wasn’t. I even asked a gardener, and she said she didn’t know all the names without the plates. It sure was still looking lovely though.

Some of the best scents I’ve experienced from roses were of that shape (though I’ve never seen one of that unique color!)
