Lovely Judy, the dahlia on the left is my favourite. Happy gardening!

Hope you are enjoying your spring garden and those cantankerous birds. 🙂 I like that dahlia too.
We are having so much rain, it is hard to get out into the garden, but this week looks promising.
Well, that’s interesting isn’t it. I’d guess your rain barrels will be full for a while. 🙂 We have rain coming in this afternoon and evening.
I hope you get nice steady rain, no crazy winds and weather!
Your Sunday may be silent, but the beauty of your garden speaks volumes! Stunning blossoms, and that bee!
Hope you enjoy a safe and peaceful Labor Day, away from all tourists.
Picture me in the garden, behind the computer screen, reading Catherine Coulter, or watching Bosch. No tourists. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers. .
I always look forward to your emails, so inspiring..
I need to hook a ride with Ms Sue and come visit you in your new digs. I’m so glad you are enjoying them and your new neighbors. I think of you often because I still have your strawberry door hanger where I see it and your cup coasters in our car. Take care, my friend.
Have a safe Labor Day. Can’t believe it is here already.
Where did August go? Headed into fall for sure. You have a nice weekend too, and I hope you don’t have any four-legged visitors checking out your apples. 🙂
Oh so very pretty! The red is vibrant… ❤️
Happy Labor Day Judy!
Enjoy the lake. I bet it will be much quieter come Tuesday. 🙂
So very, very pretty! Love that vibrant color.
Me too! Hope you, Clif and your daughter are having a nice weekend on the patio.
We had a wonderful weekend on the patio.
These are beautiful, Judy. Thanks for sharing them with us. I hope you have a great week.
You too, Dan. Hope Maddie is enjoying the cooler walking weather.
She’s hanging out with the Editor. I’m on the road.
Nothing silent about these colors! What a lovely greeting — thank you! A safe Labor Day to you too, Judy! As for the fun part of it, that has sure changed over the years. I’m thinking that some chicken soup simmering will be fun. And, yes, maybe a little baking.
You made me smile for sure because ‘fun’ has sure changed for a lot of us. Baking is on for this morning, some reading, some computer work, and maybe a Netflix or Prime visit. I can’t garden because it is too wet out there and we’re expecting a little more rain. Yep, fun filled day here. 🙂
Fun is where you make it, yes? Or bake it, as the case may be. Sounds like a good indoor day, and may it be so!
Beautiful reds! Hope your holiday is peaceful. 🙂
It will definitely be peaceful. 🙂
Those are beautiful and not silent! Have a lovely Sunday, Judy. 🌹
You too, and I hope those fires are continuing to be controlled.
For the first time in a long time we can look straight up and see blue sky! The firefighters are fighting hard to knock the fires down. It will get better.
Thank you, Judy! 🥰
I think I’ll flashback to this post in the dead of winter when everything outside is grey and white! Brilliant!
Happy Labor Day, dear friend!
Happy Labor Day to you as well. Hope you have a wonderful family day.
And happy Sunday back to your garden (and you, of course.) 🙂
Hope you and family had a nice long weekend.
Thanks. It’s been good.
Red at its best!
For some reason, red is dominate right now. The pollinators are happy too.
No words needed, your colorful flowers speak for themselves.
So beautiful! Your dahlias are thriving.
They didn’t do much all summer, but right now they are really producing the blooms, and the bees are happy, happy.
Happy Labor Day Judy, from my garden to yours! Although I doubt either of us will be doing much gardening with this wet weather. A nice respite.
Hello to one of my favorite Maine friends! Hope all is well is your area. It’s always kind of sad to see the end of the gardening season, but after several months of hard work we all need a break. In your case, I’m guessing you will be busy on your other passions.
Yes, a break is welcome! I am looking forward to a winter of weaving and sewing. Will you be staying in NH again this winter or venturing south?
We still have fingers crossed we can head south. However, we know it will be entirely different because we will choose to isolate more in order to stay away from crowds. Part of the lure of SC is the wonderful friendships but large gatherings aren’t going to be a real pull with the numbers that keep rising.
LOL, I had to laugh at “from my garden to yours”. You’d be surprised at how little you’d find in mine! I’ll take yours please !!! Beautiful reds of all shapes and sizes Judy
In your case, I could have said from your camera to mine only then I’d really be embarrassed. 🙂
Wow! I so love red flowers to cheer us up and add drama to any border. Thanks
Thank you for stopping by. Somehow I wound up with mostly red right now, and I’m really liking it. 🙂
The holidays are here! 🙂 Beautiful!
Hope you had a good one!
Great close up photos. Your garden is just beautiful.
Beautiful flowers, Judy! I love the colors.
